Projektbeschreibung

DESCRIPTION:

- Leads projects of moderate complexity and ensure project results contribute positive business value and meet agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Directly leads all aspects of the project and ensures commitments are met including project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and business value objectives
- Uses business knowledge, project management skill, and judgment to assign tasks, communicate status, and drive collaboration with project team members to complete deliverables, resolve issues and mitigate risks and escalate when appropriate.
- Improves project team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, influencing, and motivating team members to ensure project effectiveness, team development, and morale
- Ensures project team is properly staffed and team members have needed training and clear expectations
- Drives engagement of project teams, stakeholders and sponsors and the success of the project
- Sets expectations across divisions, functions, 3rd party vendors, consulting partners, project teams, and stakeholders
- Partners with business sponsor, IT leader, IT quality and audit teams to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and associated documentation including but not limited to computer systems validation, SOX, and PM standards
- Responsible for budget estimation, approvals via the CER and/or budget process, budget monitoring, and budget attainment for the project the PM is assigned
- Responsible for project integration management through the PM methodology phases; discovery, planning, execution, deployment, and close
- Participates in the project health check program
- Seeks out ways to continually improve project effectiveness from lessons learned, bench marking, PM community discussions, etc. to meet or exceed organizational and customer expectations
- Promotes healthy vendor relationships setting expectations and frequent communication
- Works with VMO to conduct an assessment of vendor quality, expertise, and costs when selecting a vendor
- May be responsible for project personnel, as well as indirect resources

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS (90 DAYS):

- Demonstrate the ability to build trusting relationships and gain respect from team members, stakeholders and project sponsors. Become familiar with business processes and challenges associated with your project(s)
- Complete IT PM Methodology training
- Review the project plans for your assigned projects to determine if scope, timeline, and/or budget need to be adjusted according to the PM standard
- Report status on your projects according to the communication plans and PMO requirements
- Ensure the project information is up-to-date in the capacity and portfolio tool

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS (12 MONTHS):

- Participate actively in the PM Community
- Meet project objectives within scope, resources, time, and budget constraints
- Receive positive feedback from engaged project stakeholders, sponsors, and team members
- Ability to proactively manage and successfully disposition project issues and risks
- Manage projects according to the Client IT PM methodology and global IT policies, standards and procedures
-Ensure project team members have taken necessary trainings including but not limited to, the IT PM methodology
- Ensure portfolio, project, capacity information is accessible and up to date in the portfolio and capacity management tool
- Provide ideas and support for continuous improvement to projects and processes
- Participate in the PM training and coaching program

DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.)
- Has a passion to meet project goals and objectives to improve Client results
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated project management experience in at least one discipline (IT, RD, Ops, etc.)
- Has a proven track record of managing successful projects
- Must be able to analyze and correct complex process and/or system issues of a broad scope using independent judgment.
- Ability to understand and analyze financial data eg costs/benefits analysis, ROI, capitalization rules, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in motivating direct or indirect employees
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, collaborative team work, presentation and negotiation skills
- Versatility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Learning to build trusting relationships and gain respect from executives
- Knowledge of cross functional business process; procure to pay, order to cash, plan to manufacture, and financial close is preferred
- Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records including and not limited to a PPM system, Visio, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to generate, explain, and present detailed schedules, objectives, reports, and other documentation accurately
- Training and organizational change management skills is a plus
- PMP certification is a plus
- International experience and or exposure working in other business functions is a plus
- Knowledge of Lean, ITIL, PPM, PMO, etc. standards and processes is a plus
- Willing to travel depending on program, project, or training needs
