Project Manager

JOB SCOPE:

- Leverages expertise in technology, knowledge of broader business solutions and global platforms in these areas, and deep understanding of their business processes to engage and influence the business partners in delivering business results and technology solutions.
- Serves as the voice of these functional areas to IS ensuring appropriate support and services are provided to meet business/functional objectives and service level agreements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Engage and influence Tax, Audit and Compliance Stakeholders on process and technology decisions aligned to global strategies, processes and solutions
- Work collaboratively with peers within the Global Finance CoE and the broader IS Organization, together with the functional stakeholders and the organization to develop multi-year business process and technology roadmaps along with corresponding investment portfolios
- Understand deeply the capabilities of the Tax, Audit and Compliance solutions, data within these solutions and the product roadmaps
- Understand the business strategies for Tax, Audit and Compliance and translate them into business capabilities and functional requirements
- Participate in the planning and execution of IS projects aligned with Global IS and Global Tax, Audit and Compliance strategies in support of the business requirements
- Plan and coordinate cutover activities of Tax, Audit and Compliance systems and major cross-functional implementations impacting them
- Identify process/technology improvements leading to Tax, Audit and Compliance and overall cost reductions and service quality improvements
- Plan and coordinate software upgrades/maintenance as required and communicate planned system outages to all key Tax, Audit and Compliance stakeholders
- Identify root cause of issues/disruptions to daily operations of Tax, Audit and Compliance business systems

SKILLS:

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree required, Major in Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent

REQUIRED:

- General work experience with a minimum of 10 years of functional work experience with IS, Tax, Compliance, and Audit
- Ability to influence and engage others
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Professional maturity and good business acumen
- Ability to cultivate an environment focused on customer satisfaction, co-operation and trust
- Ability to lead internal and external resources through influence
- Ability to see beyond current situations towards higher level process/systems improvements
- Strong business process understanding, specifically access and process control skills
- Strong systems aptitude, specifically experience of SAP GRC
- Strong problem solving skills with ability to see beyond the obvious
- Proven track record in vendor management
