Project Manager - Automotive Engineering - West Midlands - Electronic Braking Systems

Amoria Bond are looking for a Project Manager on a 12 month contract basis, with a likely extension until the vehicle launch in 2017. Our client, a leading automotive company based in West Midlands requires a Project Manager in Electronic Braking systems to join a dynamic team supporting Chassis and Braking projects. The successful Project Manager will be very experienced with Braking systems. Technical experience is desired.

Main Responsibilities:
*Looking over the project taking it from concept through to launch in 2017.
*Proven experience of delivering a major engineering project on time, within budget, preferably with braking systems.
*Identify risks and report to senior management in a timely manner
*Controlling and maintaining program budgets
*Able to report to the senior management in-line with the scheduled program reviews
*Available to travel and work at Customer/Division sites as required for varying time periods.

*Project Management
*High drive, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision
*Good leadership and influencing skills.
*Able to communicate confidently at all levels within the business and the supply base
*Engineering complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
*Understanding of automotive chassis and braking systems.
*Experience and Knowledge of new actuation systems, electric driven booster systems, ESP systems, electronic involvement in braking systems,
*NVH knowledge desired
*Confident in the application of FTEP quality and reliability disciplines, particularly FMEA.
*Candidates must be committed, flexible and able to work under pressure.
*Good PC skills and must be IT literate.

Contract Rates are competitive and negotiable Dependent upon experience.
