Project Manager

My client is leading tier 1 manufacturer based in the Midlands. They provide components to major clients within the automotive industry.

They have an exciting opportunity for a project manager in order to drive NPI and NPL with new clients. The right person will have experience in bringing concepts through to build and into full production.

This will be a client facing role so the right person must be able to demonstrate experience of this along with dealing with suppliers to ensure quality and cost are satisfactory. Although the role will predominately be working alone a large amount of collaboration will be required both internally as well as externally.

The location of the role will be in based in Midlands but travel within Europe will be required approximately 2- 3 times per month. The role requires timelines to be adhered to in alignment with project and client specifications.

The right person will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills whilst being a consistent team player. They must have the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders internally and with the client.

The following skills are essential:

- Must have Project experience within Automotive and be able to demonstrate their successes articulately.
- Experience bringing prototypes from design into production.
- A Knowledge of metal finishing and heat treatment.
- Experience of PPAPS and working in ISO regulated conditions.
