Project Manager

OUR LARGE FINANICAL CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A PROJECT MANAGER FOR A 6 MONTH PLUS EXTENSION CONTRACT IN NEW YORK CITY, NY. ONLY ACCEPTING CVS FROM CURRENT U.S CITZENS THAT CAN WORK ON A W2 BASIS WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP

Duties and Responsibilities

Directs and oversees the Project Management Life Cycle. Manages the planning, organizing and managing of resources to bring completion of specific projects goals and objectives.

Evaluates the scope and complexity of projects and programs, and implements the necessary resources to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Leads status meetings, tracks and maintains detailed issues and risks lists, and prepares appropriate project meeting minutes and status reports. Identifies project risks and mitigation strategies, and communicates status and risk issues to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have experience utilizing both Waterfall and Agile/Iterative methodologies including: SCRUM or DSDM

PMP, PMI-ACP or Prince2 Certification a plus

Experience utilizing Earned Value Management on technology projects a plus

Must have (3) years of experience in executing medium to large scaled technology projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables. At least 2 recent projects should have involved teams of 5 or more resources
