Project Manager

My client has a long term contract opportunity for a Technical Project Manager who displays excellent dynamism and aptitude for Project Delivery within the Equities/Trading arena.

The role involves Equities, Trade Flow and Argo-Trading platform project delivery, specifically the global upgrade of the Argo platform and its roll out in the APAC region. This is a stand-alone Project Manager based in Sydney.

You are not expected to get into the nitty gritty of coding, but you will know the technical aspects of these platforms and be able to have effective technical discussions.

You will be a Project Manager with over 3 years experience, who possesses bags of energy and has experience in working with a Matrix project delivery structure.

The person will have a strong personality and able to build excellent relationships, take ownership of the project, question all aspects of the project delivery and know when is the right time to push deliverables along. You need to have a proven track record of being a self starter within the Equities area

You will have excellent experience in managing people and dealing with people from all levels of the business.

- 3+ years experience as a Project Manager
- Proven experience in Equities, Trade Flow and Argo Trading platforms is essential
- Technical skills and ability to speak with the business and IT
