Projektbeschreibung

The PM will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a multi-site government project with a tight timeline and budget. The PM will interface with senior project management staff on a regular basis and report weekly progress on the project and participate in periodic Project Reviews and Customer meetings with the City and NYPD. The PM is expected to execute the Implementation Plan in accordance with the SOW and project schedule, ensure Project Milestones are completed on time, interface with the Project team, and limit exposure to the execution of non-authorized work. The PM may also be called upon to attend Customer meetings and must be capable of travel to field.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

- Manage all NYPD implementation activities, including the development of Implementation Plan
- Assist with the development of Project Schedule and Transition Plan
- Coordinate all project activities related to the NYPD procurement, staging, installation, and testing
- Interface with NYC engineering, Master Scheduler, Facilities and vendor teams to manage all implementation activities
- Coordinate installation activities and customer acceptance events with project team
- Adhere to SOW contractual requirements and identify any opportunity for upscope of services related to deviations in the SOW requested by the customer
- Responsible for determining dependencies, durations, tasks, sequencing, and project deliverables and milestones for the Master Construction Schedule
- Participate in Construction Progress Review meetings and working sessions
- Develop and maintain timelines for PM tasks
- Meeting schedule and critical path task dates
- Securing timely acceptance of milestone deliverables under the contract
- Management of change order opportunities and process
- Coordination with NYC project team, Customer, City, Vendors and other stakeholders in the Construction process
- Quality management
- Documentation management
- Some travel will be required

SKILLS:

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

- Prior experience managing Factory Acceptance Testing and System Acceptance processes
- Demonstrates high degree of drive and determination
- Good working knowledge of technology contract terms and conditions
- Ability to build and sustain excellent working relationships
- Innovative change and successful initiative implementation experience.
- Working knowledge of project and business management skills in terms of time lines, business goals, meeting agendas, our service products, and customer commitments
- Experience with managing multiple levels of customer organizations, multiple tiers of distribution and customer end users
- Strong customer presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Positive attitude
- 5+ years of experience in project or program management
- The ability to organize work and lead personnel to perform work in accordance with the contractual statement of work (SOW), schedule, and budget constraints.
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and organizational skills, work well with people, and be task and goal oriented.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software system, including MS Project and be detail oriented and customer focused.
- Telecom and Public Safety experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite
