Project Manager

My client is currently seeking a Project Manager who has skills across the successful management of online and web service focussed projects. This organization is currently obtaining information from customers manually and are implementing an electronic system to provide an online, dynamic and integrated alternative.

The role is initially for 6 months, however as this project is part of a 5 year program of work, there is the view to extend long term.

You will be responsible for the management of the procurement phase of the project by preparing vendor briefings, overseeing the development of the business requirements and working with the Solutions Architect to develop architecture requirements that will need to be included in the tender documentation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Develop and manage the release of the vendor briefs and related tender documentation for the project.
- Develop and manage the sign-off of the business requirements document for the project.
- Oversee the development of the architectural requirements for the tender documentation.
- Develop and manage the project through the project life cycle, ensuring effective planning, stakeholder management, and operative financial and risk management processes.
- Drive project outcomes and apply project management principles to ensure the project is scoped, planned, costed, resourced, and managed to effectively and efficiently deliver project objectives and business outcomes.
- Design, develop and implement business process changes.
- Support and implement the change management activities for the project.
- Provide a weekly report on the status of the project, risks and issues and highlight any roadblocks to the Program Manager.
- Manage the already established business advisory groups to ensure the business requirements are accurate and have the support and backing of the group.
- Identify and manage risks which may adversely (and positively) impact the outcomes of the project.
