Project Manager

One of our key clients is currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager for an initial 12 month contract located at their Chatswood premises.

The role is responsible for the procurement & implementation of a program & project management solution for our client.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Successful delivery of innovative Project Portfolio Management and Procurement and Commercial management business solutions and transformation
- Assist in project delivery practices & provide timely advice to the Technical Director and other program and project managers.
- Assesses project requirements impacting the portfolio as well as compliance with the Enterprise PMO standards.
- Monitoring project risks in conjunction with Business Process Owners and stakeholders.
- Producing budgets and identifying controls to maintain an effective delivery environment.
- Able to motivate, encourage and inspire the development of a strong, effective, efficient, ethical and professional team with a clear focus on the delivery of core outcomes
- Previous experience in a Matrix organisation and coordinating program management office (PMO) activities for large programs which deliver change in a large customer focused business environment.
- Previous experience in working on complex business transformation programs in a large organisation including business change.
- High level experience in designing and implementing program, project procurement and commercial management processes and procedures based on program requirements, business objectives and leading industry program management practices.
- Previous experience in construction engineering highly regarded
- SAP or Oracle experience highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Superior communication skills (written, verbal & able to manage a large audience eg) presentations)
- Government experience highly regarded
- Previous experience in managing major implementations end-to-end
