Project Manager

Work as a Project Manager for a highly-sought Government organisation. This is a contract role with lengthy extension options.

Your previous experience managing large projects or streams of work will be well regarded.

DUTIES

- Lead a Project to deliver the project outputs in accordance with the Program schedule, budget and quality standards
- Undertake and manage project scope, planning, reporting and control activities as part of the wider program effort;
- Create and maintain project documentation in accordance with Program requirements and the organisation's methodologies (based on MSP, Systems Engineering and Prince 2);
- Manage technical and business stakeholder relationships;
- Manage technical and business resources to deliver project work packages;
- Manage project risks and resolve project issues; and
- Provide risk analysis in the context of schedule impact

SKILLS

- Demonstrated experience managing, planning, and executing Information Technology projects or components of major ICT Programs; (mandatory)
- Demonstrated understanding and accreditation of Prince2 and or other Project Management methodologies; and
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders.

Due to the nature of this organisation, AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP IS MANDATORY and an NV1/SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS A MINIMUM REQUIREMENT.
