Project Manager - Flexible location: Leicester, Wolverhampton, Hinckley, Sheffield - significant travel required - 6 month fixed-term contract - competitive pro-rata salary

Capita's Health and Wellbeing division specialises in the delivery of healthcare services to the public sector, corporations and individuals. As part of this division, an opportunity has arisen within Capita Organisational Health for an operational project manager with experience of an IT solution design and implementation. The project will commence in February will and run until Mid-2014, a timescale which is linked to broader programme timescales. Working arrangements are flexible but travel will be required (mainly around the North/West Midlands).

The appointed individual will need to bring strong experience in managing individuals, teams and 3rd parties as well as being able to demonstrate the ability to plan effectively and manage activities involving logistical planning, process improvement and implementing technological solutions (with support from Capita's IT and business change teams). The project encompasses the consolidation of physical Medical Records and the design and implementation of a digitalised solution. This Project Manager will be expected to set the governance style and structure.

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate the following:

* A relevant Project Management qualification
* Previous experience managing a large scale project from conceptual design through to implementation
* Comfortable with both the strategic and hands-on aspects of a project involving an analogue-to-digital solution
* Understanding of a variety of project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall and a pragmatic approach to their application
* Must be able to work through people and influence broadly
* Must have the vision to drive a project towards a strategic end goal, whilst managing the success of day to day activities and project milestones
* Must be data literate, able to describe, and where necessary, coach the production of documents, trackers and inventories to support the controlled delivery of the project
* Must be articulate, have authority and think/work in a structured way in order to help more junior team members unite behind common project goals
