Project Manager

- 5 MONTH CONTRACT
- VIEW TO EXTEND
- INNER WEST LOCATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive and manage the process of gathering, agreeing and documenting the business, functional, data and technical requirements in a complex application environment
- Produce functional specifications through examination of existing system function, workshop facilitation and focus groups
- Management of stakeholders
- Manage a small team of developers
- Produce quality project documentation
- Management of testing and coordination of business users for UAT
- Writing various communications as required

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience in managing the development of web-based application systems
- Previous experience with Siebel as a Business Analyst.
- Previous experience as a project manager, preferably using Prince 2.
- Thorough experience in providing business analyst and project management support across the full software development life cycle from the gathering of requirements through to the delivery of reference and training material.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and run workshops to collect functional change requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop functional specifications in a Siebel environment
- Ability to work within a small team to achieve tight deadlines.
- Experience in working in large complex environments and/or government sector would be considered to be an advantage.
- Computer literacy with software packages (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, HP Quality Center)
