Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in New Works and Maintenance looking for an exciting new contract opportunity? The contract will run for at least 6 months.

You will be responsible for the
* Project management of small works projects and to ensure that all contractors have completed there work, within agreed timescales and accordance with the clients requirements.
* Prepare technical specifications, schedules of work, contract documentation etc. Invite quotations/ prices from the approved supply chain, review and evaluate returned prices. You will be liaising with contractors to ensure that prices are fully compliant with KPI's and within the project cost.
* Prepare and update project programmes.
* Production of project management plans
* Update and prepare target costs liaising with the in house commercial team where necessary.
* Make sure the funding parameters and commitments are met to obtain value for money.
* To monitor Direct Service Providers and supply chain.
* Safe working on site
* Provide supervision to all teams to ensure agreed service and production levels.
* Health and Safety.

The successful candidate will have:
Relevant qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical or Construction) C&G, HNC, HND etc
Up to date knowledge of health & Safety (Ideally a relevant qualification)
Up to date CDM knowledge
You must have experience of managing and supervising staff
Problem Solving and making decisions
Safe System of work
Full Driving license
A strong understanding of:
Contracts
Experience of managing projects from 50k to 1M
Construction methods
Planning
H&S and Environment.
