Project Manager

One of our key clients is currently seeking a Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract to work on a Peoplesoft upgrade.

The ideal candidate will have experience of a Peoplesoft Upgrade from v8.9 to v9.x, however version 9.2 is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

- Plan, lead and manage medium to larger sized ICT projects, which may form part of a wider program of work, including providing advice for process development, organisational change, training and service delivery.
- Define project plan, schedule, tasks and resource requirements against timelines
- Lead the planning and implementation of project according to ICT's change management and systems implementation processes
- Strong skills in the analysis, assessment, design, specification, development, testing, implementation and support of computer based applications
- Able to communicate effectively with internal ICT staff and customers outside ICT as well as creation of formalised technical analysis and design documentation required to deliver solutions
- Extensive experience in software and or application development projects (8 years +)
- Change Requests & System Change control experience
- Vendor management experience
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE OF PEOPLESOFT UPGRADE FROM V8.9 TO V9.X
- EXPERIENCE OF PEOPLESOFT UPGRADE 9.2 IS PREFERRED
- MANAGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY VENDOR IMPLEMENTATION OF PEOPLESOFT UPGRADE
- Experience of systems integration using ESB technologies
- Project Management qualifications in PRINCE2 Methodology
