LOCATION: Cumbria

JOB TITLE: Project Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS : £Negotiable - 1 year contract with the possibility to become permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday

THE ROLE: Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established, multinational organisation with excellent opportunities and benefits. Due to business growth our client are in need of a Project Manager to manage approx 3 projects.

The purpose of the job is to lead and take full responsibility for co-ordinating all aspects of the business projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:- -

Ensure the client's needs are understood and that the final product and service is completed to a high standard, from the start of the project until the end
-

Offer advice on fibre optic connectors, explaining the function, the advantage and the benefits of the product and prepare and conduct demonstrations if necessary
-

Liaise with the Engineers explaining the client's requirements and ensuring all information is provided and that the Engineer has full understanding of the client's needs in the design of the product
-

Liaise with the Sales department to obtain details on the sales, order processing and ensure they have provided you with all the relevant information before first client contact is made
-

Deal with any complaints and issues that may arise liaising with all relevant departments dependent on the complaint/issue content
-

Produce reports on the status of all projects for the Head of Projects

Travel to client sites (potentially overseas) to attend and lead project meetings

THE COMPANY: Our client is a joint venture to manufacture and develop products, systems and services for the subsea oil and gas market. This new company will offer a step change in reservoir recovery for the subsea oil and gas industry through integration and optimization of the entire production system over the life of the field. The integration of the production system will be accomplished by combining superior reservoir knowledge and wellbore technologies, with industry leading subsea technologies, all together delivering enhanced productivity, reliability and integrity. As part of the multinational organization that is located in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, we are a leader in subsea and downhole electrical instrumentation and power interconnect systems.

THE CANDIDATE: Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager and is looking for great responsibility and wanting to settle within a reputable company.

KEY EXPERIENCE/ CHARACTERISTICS PREFERRED FOR THE ROLE:- -

At 3 years experience within Project management is essential

Technical and Mechanical knowledge and experience is essential
-

Experience within the Oil & Gas or manufacturing industry would be advantageous
-

UK driving license is essential
-

A degree qualification in relevant discipline is preferred
