Project Manager

Our super high-visibility client has an opening for an experienced PROGRAM MANAGER role to help drive the project operation and stakeholder management for key initiatives related to the organization distributed development strategy. This is a critical role in project managing various work streams in Bellevue as well as international in partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely progress toward the international project rollout.

As a Program Manager you will work closely with all relevant stakeholders across to drive the ROB for this strategic initiative. This includes:

- Developing the project operating plan for the relevant component of Geo Expansion Strategy, defining and tightly managing the project milestones delivery calendar, work streams deliverables, building the project governance, managing the reporting processes and communications channels to ensure alignment across the relevant stakeholders. Also includes conducting work streams kickoff and holding working sessions with stakeholders.
- Tracking the performance of work streams engagement, the quality of project deliverables and reports on the effectiveness of the engagement against the plan, including driving review checkpoints with relevant stakeholders.
- Building the stakeholders engagements plan as appropriate considering all potential dependencies and risk factors that may have impact on the schedule, engagements and deliverables, and defining a mitigation/resolution plan including early alerts to achieve the required results.
- Working with the team to establish delivery dates for each deliverable based on the overall project plans, and engaging all stakeholders to participate in the review of each work stream to ensure alignment and agreement on the plan details.

Requirements for this role include:

- 5-8 years of experience and a BA or BS in a business-related field or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong project management skills and operational rigor managing a large number of deliverables and stakeholders with multiple projects deadlines
- Strong planning capability and the ability to set and manage priorities
- Flexibility in a fast changing environment with goal orientation for a strong bias toward action and tangible results
- Proven experience to work across teams to develop key processes and project plans that facilitate the consistent, and efficient management of large scale initiatives with a clear focus on results across a large virtual team with common goals
- Substantial experience in successfully delivering results and managing ambiguity in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment; with proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen with minimal supervision, while demonstrating strong personal drive, self-motivation, tenacity and an unwavering drive toward action and results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to think strategically and translate concepts and ideas into compelling content
- Experience with streamlining processes to ensure operational excellence, innovative ideation, productivity, and effectiveness across work streams
- Fundamental passion for helping people work together in a distributed model across borders
- Strong interpersonal and partnership building skills; diplomatic, collaborative, and responsive
- Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Project to create and manage content and track multiple work streams and schedules
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs a plus
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

This contract position is expected to be 4-5 months in duration with possibility of extension.
