Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a software development project. You will be responsible for leading and managing team members, software developers, third-party contractors/consultants in ICT and project teams delivering high-level outcomes.

Your duties:

- Plan, lead and manage medium to larger sized projects and providing advice for process development, training and service delivery
- Coordinate with the clients/business to outline the brief requirements
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables in consultation with business and ICT stakeholders
- Define project plan, schedule, risks, tasks and resource requirements against timelines
- Provide regular progress reports against project or operational plans, reporting to all stakeholders and also to management
- Manage and implement project change requests
- Provide post implementation evaluations and assessment of results against program of work and or project plan

Your background:

- CANDIDATES MUST HAVE MANAGED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
- Previous experience overseeing developers; organising UAT and managing defects
- Experience managing projects in a HIGHER EDUCATION SETTING highly regarded
- Understanding of AGILE methodology
- Strong demonstrated skills in the analysis, assessment, design, specification, development, testing, implementation and support of computer based applications
- High level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and liaise with key stakeholders
- The ability to critically evaluate the information and data gathered from multiple sources
- Strong background in coordinating activities, budgets, facilities or other resources
