Our clients are one of the oldest and largest hospices in England. They are a registered charity delivering quality end of life care services to patients and their families in East and North East London.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join their team and manage the development of an innovative and effective peer led website. The website will focus on peer-to-peer support and an information service which will draw cancer and non-cancer advice and information together as a signpost for those who need help.

We are looking for someone who has practical experience of project management and significant experience in delivering complex ICT projects. This person needs to be able to develop a full project plan and a launch date. The successful candidate will have proven excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and secure stakeholders whilst working with them throughout the project.

These skills will also be integral to your working with colleagues on the project and dealing with external agencies assisting in the production of the site.

Also key to the role will be your analytical skills, as you will be analysing data and information regarding feedback from users on the service.

You will also be responsible for the budgeting of the project and the development of a marketing plan to promote the new site internally and externally.

The ideal candidate:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent standard.
- PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent in other relevant subject
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Communication and inter-relational skills, particularly in persuasion and motivation
- Proven ability to manage and co-ordinate a high number of internal and external agencies, groups and individuals
- Proven ability to deliver key objectives on tight time scales
- Able to manage workload flexibly and resourcefully
- Self-motivating and self-directing
- Significant experience in delivering complex ICT projects
- Proven experience in developing and delivering complex website projects
- Proven experience in developing technical specifications for websites and working with website development agencies
- Proven ability to deal with staff at all levels of an organisation and to liaise and network effectively
- Proven experience of developing marketing materials, plans and activities to promote a service or product
