Project Manager

Our client is currently seeking a strong Project Manager to join their team for a long term contract located in Western Sydney.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all project management functions are undertaken to a professional standard and in accordance with PMO methodologies, project controls and protocols.

Skills Required:

- Certified in project management preferably practitioner level of PRINCE2 and demonstrated skills and experience in using contemporary project management and SDLC (eg Agile) methodologies and application development methodology preferably iterative, in delivering best practice, customer focused ICT systems/successful projects.
- High level facilitation, negotiation skills and demonstrated success at building relationship with key stakeholders, internal or external and managing a successful team.
- Understanding of government and corporate management policies and guidelines and legislation particularly around configuration management;
- Knowledge of and experience in organisational change/benefits management;
- Experience in managing the delivery of projects including estimation, planning, scheduling, financial management and status reporting;
- Highly developed skills in computer literacy, particularly in the area of business productivity products - Microsoft Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint etc; and
- High level communication skills (inter-agency, written, interpersonal and presentational).
