Project Manager

Link Technologies is currently recruiting for Project Management Specialists, Levels I, II, and III. This is a contract opportunity for an established client in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Job Duties:

- Promote effective project initiation and planning, risk management planning, project execution, and the development of lessons learned for IT projects.
- Development of IT work scope, work breakdown structure and dictionary, resource loaded schedules, risk analysis, and cost estimate development leading to the establishment of a project baseline.
- Assists in developing and maintaining formal customer contact, negotiating schedules and milestones, coordinating the participation of responsible entities, and developing schedules to assure project objectives, schedules are met, and IT work is performed within budget.

Experience and Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Systems.
- Or equivalent education and experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment:

Level I, 4 years

Level II, 6 years

Level III, 8 years

- Thorough knowledge of Project Management principles, concepts and practices.
- Must possess PMP certification.
- Experience managing small and large scale projects.
- Working knowledge of MS Project Professional.
- Professional-level written and verbal communications skills as well as technical presentation skills.

Note:  One year experience shall substitute for one year of education.  Any experience utilized to fulfil education requirements cannot count towards the position's required number of years of experience.
