Project Manager

- 6 MONTH CONTRACT
- BASED IN SYDNEY CBD
- OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO PARRAMATTA

My client has an opportunity for an Applications focused Senior Project Manager to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend. In order to be successful, it is mandatory that you have previous experience in a Project Manager role working with online and mobile application implementations.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and implementation of mobile data collection applications.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and implementation of custom developed spatial systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of Business Intelligence and reporting systems and the migration from one system to another.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of IT applications, acquisition and development projects.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management including negotiating with suppliers and clients for the acquisition and provision of products and services.
- Proven performance in delivering large complex range $250k-$10million IT application projects on time and on budget.
- Detailed knowledge of procurement and contract management processes
- Proven ability in leading and motivating a team of specialist staff providing project management services.
- Proven analytical ability and technical problem solving skills demonstrated by a track record of developing innovative IT solutions to improve business efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound negotiating and strong influencing skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and good interpersonal skills.
