Senior Technical Project Manager

Infrastructure experience is required. Experience with IBM Portal Build/Update is preferred.

The eBusiness Application Infrastructure & Operations organization is responsible for implementing and supporting the blueprint for highly available, scalable, and supportable applications to service KP's business needs.

The Project Manager will lead individual infrastructure projects and initiatives from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and close-out. Establish project requirements, priorities, and deadlines. Ensure project is completed in accordance with all technology risk, architecture and other relevant enterprise-wide guidelines and assist with coordinating all Infrastructure Technology resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.

Basic Qualifications:

- PMI PMP Certification required
- Work experience managing infrastructure projects, data center build outs including procurement, asset management, vendor and financial management
- Bachelor's degree Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-10 years of related work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in RPM for time reporting, scheduling, and project management
- Possess organizational proficiencies to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision.

- Prefer HealthCare and Information Technology experience and knowledge
- ITIL v3 Certification

This person will be managing intake and planning items (project requests), and potentially some small department initiatives for the Application Platform team. They will be the primary point of contact for specific channels of intake and planning work as well as coordinate the turnover of the incoming projects to our delivery team. They will potentially have interaction with, but not limited to, the MCOE, Intranet, Internet, and Incubation teams within DPT, as well as staff within our own group.
