PROJECT MANAGERS - BANKING - CUSTOMER JOURNEY - CUSTOMER SIDE OF CHANGE

A leading Retail Bank based in Bristol is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation.

The purpose of the role is to apply project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to a broad range of tasks in order to deliver the desired result for a particular project in a timely fashion.  This role will also be responsible for leading the Customer Side of Change activity across the programme. This CSOC activity is critical in order to protect the customer experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

- To take responsibility for carrying out the CSOC process for specific, high-impact projects.
- To own the Cumulative View of change across customer segments/channels. To maintain a holistic customer approach avoiding potential disconnect between the Commercial and Retail workstreams.
- To deliver the CSOC governance approach.
- Controlling the day-to-day operation of the Project ensuring that delivery of the Project is to time and against the agreed plans, including tracking Project expenditure within budget.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):

- Project Management skills with a strong Customer Side of Change element.
- Impact and influencing skills amongst senior stakeholders
- Project management (not purist PMO, but the ability to marshal resources to deliver milestones)

organisational awareness - Previous governance experience & Business Delivery Manager background (managed cross-functional issues/relationships)
- Knowledge of the SME customer base and experience would be preferable

As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.

This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.
