Purpose and Description:
Seeking a senior Project Manager to manage multiple tracks of work for HealthCare Reform - Summary of Benefits and Coverage Program.

This senior project management position will be responsible for coordinating cross functional teams and delivery of multiple tracks of highly complex large scale programs in all phases of the SDLC.

Essential Functions:
Duties include:
Create and maintain an integrated project plan.
Work with each application involved in the workstream to ensure deadlines are met.
Create and maintain issue log. Resolve issues and only escalate when help is needed.
Create and maintain risk log, creating mitigation strategies.
Collect status weekly.
Report status to leadership weekly.
Ensure the test lead is assigned and on board.
Partnering with business analysts to understand project requirement and determine what and how to build and organize tables to fulfil the business requirements.

Required Experience:
10 years in IT including experience leading IT development and implementation of highly complex, large scale, corporate IT initiatives..*Must have experience working with team members and clients across time zones*
Demonstrated success leading projects; ideally with budgets in excess of $5.M per year.
8 years experience creating integrated business and IT project plans, key milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, resource loading, risk management plans, project management including change and quality control.
Must have experience implementing at least 2 IT solutions and managing customer expectations in a multi (3+) divisional/multi regional business environment
Ability to manage projects of various SDLC methodologies including Agile.

Preferred Experience: These are things that you would like to see, but are NOT required to fill the position. These are NOT disqualifying items.
A Bachelors degree (reduce years of experience required by 2 years).
PMP Certification.
Healthcare Insurance experience highly desired
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management, internal and external vendors/partners, system integrators, etc. Experience in directing project teams consisting of Solutions Consultants, Programmer Analysts/Developers, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, Infrastructure Engineers/Consultants, Quality Assurance Resources, Vendors, etc.
Experience with managing budgets and metrics associated with large projects.
Ability to develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope and establish objectives for assigned projects.

Required Education:
High School Diploma.

Standard Work Hours:
Flexible - normally you will be working normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some adjustment may be needed as scheduling conflicts arise. You will also be on-call one weekend a month.
