Position requires a result focused project manager who can develop, execute and lead a strategic community outreach initiative. The position requires the ability to think strategically while executing on a tactical level and effectively executing in ambiguous situations with minimal direction.

The work is developing, executing and leading an internal and external community outreach project that leads to additional membership in the subsidized health plan.

Work with local community organizations and governmental agencies to raise awareness of the plan and build mutually beneficial relationships that lead to increased access to health care in our communities.

Organize training and participate in health fairs and community events as needed.
Teams with local community benefit managers to address any specific needs in their service areas and to identify additional partner opportunities.
Identify additional membership channels including external media.
Update customer relationship management system (CRM) with key community agency data points.

Requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills. Ability to adapt communication style to audience is a necessity.

BA or BS in community relations, communications, marketing, or business administration. 5 -7 years' experience in business consulting, community relations, sales, marketing or nonprofit program development.

PMP a plus but not required.

Bi-lingual Spanish a plus. Able to use MS Office suite at an intermediate level.

Able to travel locally within Northern CA for community events.
