Project management responsibilities for Intranet Client Support and Maintenance Releases:
Facilitate client meetings to identify, review, and clarify requirements for change and enhancement requests
Facilitate and manage operational improvements and issue resolution related to Intranet Clients
Support tracking and status updates for change and enhancement requests across multiple clients
Work with Content specialists, User Experience SMEs, website designers, and other project managers to
ensure requirements and deliverables are clearly defined and that timelines are met.
Coordinate with IT on development, testing, and production implementation of Maintenance Releases
Provide status reports, defect tracking metrics, and client briefings as required
Identify issues and follow through until they are resolved.
Identify risks and issues and communicate them to the appropriate parties.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and facilitate process and tool enhancements
Project management responsibilities for User Acceptance Testing:
Manage UAT testing for Maintenance Releases and for web Portal Migration Projects, as needed
Develop UAT test plans and schedules (MS Word and MS Project) and identify gaps/risks/issues
Manage UAT testing process and team from beginning to end of testing with the goal of achieving
effective and efficient UAT testing.
Manage, plan and solicit resources to ensure adequate resources are available and delivery commitments
are met.
Must be self-sufficient and independent.
Must be able to operate and deliver in a large, bureaucratic organization.
Must be able to plan and address issues and risks pro-actively, rather than reacting to them.
Acts as primary testing liaison for business partners, QA, and development, for business-side testing effort
Manage timelines, issues, risks, status reports, defect metrics and testing statistics.

Background Experience - Required
10+ years in IT
7+ years as a Project Manager
PMP certified
Has managed budgets directly up to 2 million
Projects managed have complexity (Multiple sites, up to 20 interdependent tracks) and many unknowns.

* Candidate needs to know when to push and when not to, candidate also needs to be a self starter who takes the initiative. Manager is not going to be a micromanager - He will provide direction.

Manager will do face to face or over the phone he is flexible
