Project Manager

Link Technologies is looking for a Project Manager for a contract position with one of our clients in Reno, NV. Will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable Upgrade within the client facility.  If you are looking to join a team environment with a well-established company, this position is for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Accountable to the client Vice-President & Chief Accounting Officer
- Manage overall project
- Manage overall project plan - estimate time, manage status, manage deliverables, provide updates to team and leadership
- Continuously monitor the project plan, timelines, milestones and deliverables
- Report project plan changes, delays, risks to leadership
- Manage the project scope
- Manage internal/external project resources
- Lead weekly project status meetings
- Lead weekly meetings with external consultant engagement manager
- Lead weekly meetings with project leadership
- Manage project budget and provide regular budget reporting to leadership
- Assist with managing change management process
- Keep team abreast of project milestones and ensure completion of milestones
- Monitor and update SDLC document and post in appropriate folders
- Communicate issues and/or delays to team as appropriate
- Coordinate the User Acceptance Testing effort with the user acceptance testers.
- Work with the Compliance group on business process changes with the implementation of Accounts Payable Imaging.
- Develop training plan and coordinate with Project Advisor to develop training materials and identify key users for initial roll out.
- Develop Contingency Plan
- Develop and implement communication strategy
- Other project administrative or management tasks that may be assigned or required
