Project Manager

Opportunity:
We are searching for a Project Manager local to the Northbrook, Illinois area to support a 10 month consulting assignment. Do you have experience managing aggressive schedules? Are you able to drive delivery while maintaining scope/schedule/cost? If so, we want to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have more than five years of project management experience.
- Must have demonstrated MS Project skills in developing and maintaining a detailed, resource-loaded and leveled schedule.
- Must have multiple projects in portfolio including previously supported medium ($500K-$750K) efforts concurrently.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrated through presentation and facilitation with IT and business audiences, including group presentations.
- Responsible for managing acceptance criteria throughout the translation of requirements into design and delivery, as well as ongoing scope containment.
- Ability to establish a formal change management process and execute through that process.
- Experience with risk workshops, risk analysis, schedule analysis, issue management, and issue logs.
- Experience utilizing a balanced approach to resources, appropriate utilization, and management of costs allocated against capital and expense.
- Programming experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must have experience utilizing the waterfall approach. Agile experience is a plus.
