Project Manager

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER to support our client in Miami, FL.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position requires experience in the payments card industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Primary responsibilities include OVERALL LEADERSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY OF EMV-RELATED PROJECTS, including, but not limited to, satisfying the intended business results with a successful and timely implementation.
- Assist customers and internal areas to implement EMV-related solutions.
- Ensuring all project contributors successfully complete assigned tasks as scheduled.
- Identifying key barriers to a projects success and actively manages all mitigation activities.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules to ensure timely completion of various projects complex in nature.
- Effectively lead the project team to align with the business objectives, project schedule, and project budget.
- Effectively provide assistance in solving specific EMV-related inquiries by leveraging own expertise or correctly directing to correspondent area.
- Ensure methodology compliance and manage resolutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with project contributors throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Identify and manage project risks.
- Regularly communicates to management regarding the overall portfolio status of assigned projects.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree desired (Master's preferred) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Three to four (3 to 4) years of experience with Project Management structured methodology and project planning tools.
- Knowledge of PMI methodologies is preferred.
- KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN EMV TECHNOLOGY, REGULATIONS, APPLICATIONS, PRODUCTS AND DEPLOYMENT.
- KNOWLEDGE OF PAYMENTS INDUSTRY.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships.
- Listening, oral, written and presentation skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills.
- Demonstrate ethics and values to generate high team trust.
- Effectively deal with difficult situations. Help develop solutions to complex problems."
