Project Manager

A Project Engineer/Manager is required to join aManchesterbased engineering firm on a 6 month contract.

The company in question are planning on making a number of modifications to their existing site and require and experienced Project Manager to oversee the changes and ensure they are delivered safely on time and to budget.

The successful candidate will come from a mechanical background and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering engineering related projects. We are looking for someone who has worked on site layout modifications and you will have experience of managing the installation of plant equipment and machinery.

The client has a strong book of sub contractors and your role will be to successfully manage them to ensure results are achieved. We require someone who can come in and hit the ground running; you will have strong man management skills and will be assertive and proactive in your approach.

Although the initial contract period is 6 months there is at least 12 months worth of work so if all goes well it is likely you will extend.
