Project Manager

The project involves a series of updates to key reference data that is used as part of the policy booking, policy administration and financial management process. The changes may be applied to systems centrally maintained (these will be delivered by the systems workstream) or across business applications/EUTs locally maintained by the business units in-country/function.
This is a comprehensive project that involves managing groups of cross-functional teams, across a large number of countries - and therefore requires very close management and co-ordination.

Essentially the Project Manager will be responsible for:
* Ensuring project delivery from inception to completion occurs with the appropriate corporate governance and methodologies in place
* Providing extensive stakeholder and project team management, across Operations and Profit Centres through local champions
* Management of a number of workstreams including systems (which will in itself be managed by a Systems Project Manager)
* Managing to a tight timeline within approved quality thresholds

Experience
* Demonstrable experience in end-to-end Project/Programme Management using leading methodologies and processes.
* Proven track record in delivering change in a strongly business focussed project/programme within a large corporate environment
* The competence and capability to grow into managing & developing project stakeholder teams across multiple locations for successful delivery.
* A proven track record in delivering change and transformation projects and their associated benefits to an agreed timeline, budget and quality
* Capable of building strong, meaningful relationships with internal and external parties alike, with demonstrable influencing skills at all levels
* Excellent communication and listening skills with people at all levels of the organisation; ability to promote an accountable and collaborative team-based environment.
* Extensive experience working in an international environment, with strong appreciation of, and respect for, diversity in the workplace.
* Project resource management skills associated with those required in delivering change within a large corporate environment
* Strong, demonstrable workshop facilitation skills
* Experience of business analysis, process analysis and gap analysis
* Prince 2 & MSP certified or equivalent. Certified at APM level or equivalent.
* Fluent English essential, another European language desirable.
