Project Manager

Position Title: Project Manager
Duration: 3 month Contract (Probable extension. Possible perm after 6 months)
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005

Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage detailed project plans, project schedules and cost estimates.
- Track action items from internal and external resources to ensure quality project management.
- Partner with other IT groups and Business Units to cooperatively deliver projects on time and within budget constraints.
- Assist team members in their duties, tasks, responsibilities and functions.
- Monitor the progress of analysis, design, development, testing, reporting all projects assigned to the team.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of work products from the team.
- Manage project budgets.
- Possess excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

- 3-5 years Technical Project Management
- 3 years RECENT experience as a project manager in an Agile/Scrum environment is a must.
- Experience running Scrum meetings is a must.
- Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC -is the process of developing information systems through investigation, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance.)
- Experience with the AGILE project development methodology
- Experience with the utilization of near or offshore development
- 1-2 years programming experience in a full Systems Development life cycle environment a strong plus
