Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you experienced with risk management tools and processes? Do you enjoy project planning? If so, we have the job for you! Our client in Illinois is looking for a Project Manager to help oversee day-to-day projects while keeping them on schedule and within budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Nine to ten years of PM experience.
- Conduct project kick-off, identify stakeholders, define project roles and responsibilities.
- Oversee the development timelines and milestone. Prioritize tasks.
- Communicate and resolve project issues.
- Support organization process improvement teams.
- Conduct project reviews and communicate project status both in formal and informal settings.
- Provide leadership for diverse groups with different agendas.
- Overcome resistance to change and gain willing participation from the project team.
- Support the preparation of requests for proposal (RFP) and negotiations.
- Interface with other projects to track cross-functional action items and budgets to ensure corporate integration.
- Be willing to take direction from more senior PMs and directors.
