Project Manager

Electrical power generation client is currently seeking an MSIV (Main Steam Isolation Valve) Assistant Project Manager in Seneca, SC to This is a 1 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure project construction activities are performed safely, on schedule, and within the project budget
- Ensure field activities are occurring as scheduled and ensure resolution of issues identified during construction
- Work closely with the implementation team to ensure field issues are quickly identified and given the proper priority for prompt resolution
- Assist the Lead Project Manager in developing presentations to Senior Management

REQUIREMENTS

- Proficient in reading, managing, and adjusting construction schedules as necessary to facilitate project completion on time
- Knowledge of P3 or P6 preferred
- Previous Project Management or Construction Management
- Wide range of construction experience and working knowledge of cost accounting & managing to a budget desired
