An excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Managers in theNorthamptonarea.

You will be required to plan, coordinate, drive, manage, support and inspire your project teams to deliver high quality software to time, budget, and requirement via multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own projects from inception through to live deployment
* Liaise with customers to understand the business requirement
* Hands-on; working day to day with developers and the discipline leads to manage project process
* Agree and manage objectives, estimates and timescales with the discipline leads in your various project teams.
* Ensure that obstacles to progress are identified and addressed in a timely fashion.
* Manage scope and budget change tightly within your team.
* Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the schedule and to budget.
* Conduct required project meetings and presentations.
* Ensure clear, efficient communication between all members of the team and stakeholders, both onshore and offshore.
* Act as effective point of escalation, control and reference for your project teams.
* Ensure that the required MI is provided in a clear and timely fashion.

Skill Requirements:

* Matrix-management, ideally using an onshore / offshore model
* Experience in web based software development projects ideally using Java and SOA
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Working knowledge of Agile and/or iterative development (RUP, DSDM, SCRUM, XP)
* A strong personality with excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Enquiring mind, questioning and probing technical subject matter
* Certification in at least one of; Prince2 Practitioner, Agile PM, PMP, Scrum-master or similar with 2+ years demonstrable experience of successful delivery

Salary: c.£45,000
