Project Manager

LEAN/SIX SIGMA PROJECT MANAGER opportunities for a highly regarded firm in the upper Midwest (WI, OH, IN). Three separate locations. Temp-to-Perm. Projected to be Temp -to-Perm possibility after 6 - 8 month. Need local candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Organize, lead and facilitate business process improvement within a function such as Remanufacturing, Customer Care, Logistics and Purchasing that will have the greatest impact on process improvement and cost control
- Collaborate in high visibility projects to improve profitability and customer service in the Plant Services business
- Drive improvements in business performance using Lean Enterprise Six Sigma methodologies improving rolled throughput yield in the Customer Support and Maintenance Business
- Focus on positive measurable transformation based on Value Stream Mapping the key Plant Services business processes
- Support the development and achievement of key financial and operational process improvement metrics
- Provide input on defining the improvement strategy and executing identified projects

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor Degree or academic equivalent. A PLUS to have Prefer degree in Business Management or Operations with an emphasis on Lean Manufacturing, including Value Stream Mapping.
- A PLUS to have Masters in Business or equivalent experience in service business
- Need Green Belt Certification and either have or working toward Black Belt certification. Must have solid understanding of Six Sigma methodology
- Requires solid experience working in an SAP environment. A PLUS to have experience with SAP deployments
- Minimum of 10+ years hands on experience in the service industry including remanufacturing, purchasing, customer service or logistics. Ideally will have Manufacturing experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communications, and demonstrated leadership skills
