Project Manager

A global pharmaceutical client is currently embarking on a new project in Shanghai, China; and requires an experience Project Manager to oversee and lead the project.

The project is focusing on a high value new build of a Production Line and Office buildings. The production line will be a tablet coating line. The Project Manager will join at the initial Construction phase, and will complete all the stages leading up to Client Handover. This project is due to start immediately, and will have an initial contract length of 3 years.
The individual that would be placed in this position will have to have demonstrated strong management drive, and must have run at least 2 or 3 similar projects from start to handover; to reflect the level of this position.

Experience needed includes:

- Pharmaceutical construction with project values M Swiss Francs
- Experience of production line builds
- Full life cycle construction experience
- Experience in GMP
- Experience of working within China, and working with local and international contractors and consultancies
- Language skills: English essential - Mandarin a bonus but no means essential
