Project Manager

Project Manager with background in electronic security installation projects for an industry leader in security located in Northern Virginia. Temp-to-perm basis. Experience with government security projects and a current PMP certification are pluses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsibilities encompass a "Cradle to Grave " approach to electronic security installations for the Government
- Serve as the facilitator between the Government representatives and the company field organizations
- The Project Manager will ensure requests received from the customer are accurate and thorough, work with the company field organizations to obtain complete and timely surveys, be able to verify accuracy of the surveys, prepare Scopes of Work and pricing documents, track and report project expenditures and installation progress through the completion of the work
- Develope Scopes of Work from prints and customer requirements descriptions, tracking and reporting milestone dates, directing funding documents and coordinating the ordering and delivery of materials

REQUIREMENTS

- Project Managers shall have a minimum of five years project management experience preferably in management of electronic security projects (intrusion detection, access control, cctv, perimeter security, etc)
- Project Managers will be expected to obtain a PMP certification within 6 months of being made a permanent employee
- Must have a four year degree and a minimum of three years of verifiable project management experience or five years of verifiable project management experience.
- Must have technical writing skills
