Project Manager

My client is a Government organisation looking for a Project Manager to join their team for an initial 6 month contract.

We are looking for someone who ideally has a background in systems with Workers Compensation and Occupational Health and Safety. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team who will have responsibilities across other competing initiatives, time management & negotiation of staff availability is important

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

- Be heavily engaged with the business clients to ensure that they are both supportive of the process and receiving the products they require
- Maintain a high standard of project governance
- Ensure compliance with Prince2 methodologies
- Report on progress, risks & issues
- Extensive Project Management background
- Proven staff leadership skills
- Experience in development & maintenance of either Workers Compensation systems, OH & S systems or Payroll systems
- Team Leadership skills
