Project Manager

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking a Pre-Outage Project Manager to initiate and develop pre-outage implementation plans including analysis and evaluation of plans to ensure the conduct of safe and efficient outage preparations at Brunswick Nuclear Plant in Southport, NC. This project is scheduled to last 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates are preferred, but per diem and mobilization / demobilization will be available for candidates who qualify. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitor, coordinate, schedule, and ensure pre-outage work is complete to support a successful refueling outage
- Be a member of the Outage & Scheduling unit and work closely with supervision, team members, and Nuclear personnel to fully resource levelize and integrate pre-outage work schedules
- Develop, maintain and distribute effective computerized schedules for Pre-outage activities
- Provide Project Coordination / Planning for the development or implementation of pre-outage specific evolutions including coordination to ensure that all pre-outage tasks are completed to support a successful refueling outage
- Create specialized reports using various database applications (ProjectView, PassPort Query Builder, Excel, Business Objects, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience initiating and developing pre-outage implementation plans at a nuclear facility
- Project Management experience
