Description:
Before the project:
With the help of sponsors, s/he identifies all project stakeholders: customers, suppliers, impacted parties, supervisory bodies, ... and get their agreement on their contribution (the role and responsibilities) in the project.
In collaboration with all stakeholders, S/He clarifies and specifies the scope of the project (based on the business case) developing a comprehensive list of all deliverables to be provided under the project.
Determines, in consultation with the stakeholders concerns, standards, methods, processes and tools used to produce and validate the different categories of deliverables (eg SDLC, security ...) and the required quality levels.
With the help of a sponsor, s/he set up a temporary organization that will create and validate efficiently all deliverables included in the scope.
S/He provides the human and technical resources required for the realization of all project deliverables.
With the help of sponsors, s/he obtains an agreement on the time and costs associated with the project.

During the project:
S/He manages the risks and problems associated with the project: organizing the identification of new risks, their qualification, takes/proposes mitigation actions, obtains the SteerCo CD. S/He maintains the "necessary decisions (climbing sponsor project risk log)".
Manages changes (in scope ... and others) during the course of the project: identifying and analysing the impact, decisions and gets integrated into the schedule. S/He maintains the "project change log."
S/He communicates regularly and if necessary, to the various stakeholders of the project within the communication plan defined in the PMP.
S/He carries out, ready for use, allocation and monitoring of tasks/activities to members of the project team.
Manages the business needs in human resources and technology.
S/He implements/enforces the methods, processes and tools as determined in the project plan (and, in particular, the governance of our customer in Project Management)
S/He continues actively, the project is closed by the return mode BASU all parties impacted by the change.

Responsibilities:
1.1. The Project Manager and Quality
The PM may not be expert in all areas required and/or impacted by the project.
S/He can not determine on his own the quality requirements for each deliverable, or how to obtain and verify them.
However, obtaining the agreed level of quality is part of his responsibilities.

To do this:
The PM obtains from customers/beneficiaries of each deliverable, the required quality level, and the criteria and methods to verify it. If so, it is also based on "standards" of the company ( eg governance) and the sector.
S/He obtains, with experts in the field, methods, processes and tools to achieve the required quality levels.
S/He ensures that these methods are effectively applied in the project.
S/He takes corrective action with the support of experts in the field, when the quality levels defined/agreed are not met (or when the agreed methods are not followed).
1.1.1. Special case of Project Management Deliverables
Means available to all Project Management deliverables that are explicitly provided for under the governance of Project Management of the customer.
These include the project plan (PMP), progress reports (PSR), presentations to the Steering Committee and minutes of the meetings of the Steering Committee, requests for project changes (PCR), etc..
Are excluded from this category deliverables related to other processes/governance deliverables such as SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Deliverables for Project Management, the PM is personally responsible for their quality. Indeed:
S/He has the expertise
S/He is itself responsible to produce and validate them

Technical skills:
The candidate has relevant experience in project management environments/technical projects similar to ours.
The candidate has a significant professional maturity that allows it to gain the trust of its customers, who are specialists and/or engineers with a high degree of experience in the business of energy distribution.

Personal skills:
The candidate is preferably bilingual Dutch/French.
