Project Manager

Electrical power generation client is currently seeking a Project Manager knowledgeable of basic project fundamentals associated with Project Controls and Scheduling at the Oconee Nuclear Station in Seneca, SC. This is a 1 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Projects will be multidiscipline and will require interface with multiple organizations
- Must be able to multi-task and have good organization skills and be results oriented to bring items to closure in a timely manner
- Lead a team of multidiscipline engineers, multidiscipline craft, and must have a general understanding of construction practices
- Report to the Manager of Projects in Engineering at Oconee Nuclear Station

REQUIREMENTS

- 4 year technical degree is required
- Nuclear experience preferred
- Project Management PMP Certification is desired
- Knowledge of contract management and experience with oversight of offsite vendors is desired
