Description
IT and Business Lead for ICD-10 Implementation in the Ohio Region.

Role
Plan and manage business workplan tasks. (including workplanning for ICD10 transition of impacted business owned applications).
Overall accountability for ensuring Business Project Deliverables are completed and signed-off.
Collaborate with the IT PM to provide change management of business change requests and control of project scope creep
Collaborate with the IT Project Manager supporting a workstream specific communication plan.
Coordinates development and communication of function requirements for ICD-10 Program
Ensures that business and compliance requirements are collected, validated, and approved
Manage business project risks, establish contingency plans, and risk mitigation plans. Maintain RAIDs and escalates as appropriate.
Ensure business project dependencies are managed. Ensures engagement with cross-functional entities as may be required
Report on progress/status of business deliverables
Support development of and monitor Business Cost Estimates. Responsible to get business estimates for assigned Workstream/Functions (schedule, budget, resources, etc.).
Ensure business user test cases are defined and approve in collaboration with IT and in support of the overall Test plan for IT supported applications. Ensure the execution of the UAT test plan
Ensure completion of business owned application test strategy and plans, inclusive of Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing and End to End Testing.
Ensures business user ICD-10 training requirements are gathered

Scope of the project:
Present until December 2014. Full time 40 hrs week. Must be on-site. Ohio's ICD10 implementation requires an individual to oversee and manage both the IT and Business project scope; schedule and budget.
