Project Management Team Lead

The PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEAM LEAD role is one of project support, gaining experience, and understanding of good practices for remaining on schedule and within acceptable parameters. The Team Lead may prepare status reports, coordinate project plan input, and provide assistance to the project leader.

OVERVIEW

- Responsible for ensuring the customer needs are satisfied by providing specific deliverables.
- Ensures good practices in standard methodologies and processes are used to deliver an integrated solution.
- Major emphasis is on coordination of tasks.
- The job may include responsibility for technical development.
- This position serves as a single point of contact and acts in a liaison capacity to facilitate problem resolution.

REQUIREMENTS

- Creates and statuses project schedules with assistance
- Provides input to and prepares status reports for the project or program
- Accountable for meeting project schedules and results as well as customer satisfaction
- Becomes familiar with the field of project management for on-going engagements, including coordinating for support services, and facilitating communications
- Participates in meetings and makes recommendations for process development or changes in service
- May participate in customer calls, reviews, contract renewal discussions, or customer advocacy
- Maintains accuracy of databases, utilization of standard forms and adherence to policies and procedures
- Organizes date, prepares documentation, and distributes for assigned projects
- Requires 1-3 years of related work experience, or AA degree, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience desired in various types of projects
