Project Management Specialist

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST to join our client located in Pasadena, CA

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Activities include coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, developing cost benefit analyses for the program, communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard, allocating resources across the multiple projects, defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program.
- Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.
- Researches, compiles, and formats information into databases and spreadsheets.
- Submits project status reports in Remedy and SharePoint.
- Communicates when projects are in jeopardy to project manager.
- Consults with technical resources when needed.
- Conducts project status meetings, sends out agendas and meeting minutes.

Job Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in written forms.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects activities with diverse groups and individuals.
