OUTSOURCE UK LTD IS ACTIVELY SEEKING TO RECRUIT A PROJECT MANAGEMENT DOMAIN EXPERT FOR A CONTRACT ROLE ON BEHALF OF A CLIENT.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

THE JOB:
The role involves providing PM functional expertise in support of the design, build testing, user acceptance and business deployment of an integrated PM toolset and associated business processes in order to achieve the objectives of project plans. The job holder will be involved in the Creation and maintenance of project structures, Project Planning, Schedule Maintenance, Resource Allocation, Budget Definition and Work Authorisation, Control Account Management, Earned Value Management, Project Performance Reporting, Project Baseline Maintenance and Charge Control, Project and Contract Closure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The successful Project Management Domain Expert candidate will be responsible for the following:
Ensuring that the developing solution respects the relevant PM policy and process requirements.
Assuring the projects PM Domain Lead that application of the projects solution across the Business will, and continues to, respects the relevant PM policy and process requirements.
Support the update of all relevant MAI process to reflect changes introduced as a result of the projects solution development. Similarly, influence LCM Guides and Handbooks.
Identify and engage with MAI PM Subject Matter Experts and decision makers as required.
Influence the topical content of the Integrated Planning training suite ensuring new processes and toolset are appropriately referenced.
Provide a Domain Expert service of these capability areas to the MAI Business as the projects solution is developed and deployed.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrable experience of practical project management including planning, schedule management, cost management, risk management and management reporting within a complex multi-function project environment
Well developed understanding of scheduling principles, concepts, practices and standards together with experience of formal scheduling toolsets such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan or equivalents
Knowledge and experience of Earned Value Management and the use of the project schedule within the context of an EVMS is highly desirable along with experience of applying risk management processes
