THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Assisting with updating, documenting and maintaining department processes and tools as required.
- Ensuring project work complies with practices, policies and standard operating procedures
- Designing, maintaining and executing reports in support of contingent worker programs
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Tracking the progress of project(s), including milestones, action items and issues. Following through on items generated from project team meetings.
- Analyzing master project plan(s) for conflicting tasks, timeline consolidation, and resource allocation.
- Designing and distributing templates to facilitate project tracking, change control, metrics, and issue decision management.
- Independent management of report auditing as needed.
- Following up on project issues with project manager(s) to assist in the development of solutions.
- Acting as liaison between various stakeholders, departments, outside agencies, or collaborators, providing status reports and data analysis and ensuring flow of communication between groups.
- Performing and managing special projects as requested by supervisor
- Act as liaison between Client and vendor to facilitate processes as needed
- Manage follow up actions with department within Company as needed
- Monitoring, maintaining, uploading, issued permission to SharePoint Sites
- Schedule a good majority of the Programs meetings
- Assist program manager in all aspects of project management involving the Contingent Worker Program (part of HR) including planning, data gathering, analysis, development, communication, status tracking, implementation, monitoring, and follow-up.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Associates degree or HS diploma/GED and relevant work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Project coordination experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word) and knowledge of other computer applications (eg, SharePoint, MS Project, Databases)
- Designing and implementing MS-Project templates and filters for project plan tracking and reporting.
- Industry experience is a plus
