PROJECT LEADER FMEA TOOLING PROJECT

JOB MISSION

Job Mission: The Project Leader demonstrates best-in-class project management skills to introduce new or improved processes and supporting IT-tooling on time and in budget within the cluster Operations and depending on the scope of the project also in other related clients clusters (Product, Market and Corporate).

JOB DESCRIPTION
*Overall project leadership and responsible for selection, delivery and deployment of process solutions and IT tooling, on time, within budget and to the required standards.
*Conduct the project according to the internal project methodology.
*Set up the project team, define and manage project planning, execution and project closing; transfer project to process owner in line management.
*Lead the project team of both business and IT project members in gathering and documenting functional requirements, creating specifications (and IT architecture and business architecture), develop, test and implement new solutions and/or enhance existing applications.
*Effectively manage, and where necessary coach project team resources.
*Prepare and assist in tooling selecting, tendering and contracting in co-operation with Procurement
*Actively manage the relation with all internal and external (suppliers/sub-contractors) stakeholders; act as cross sector interface: represent the project team across CLIENT, report progress in Project Boards and/or Steering Committee(s).
*Manage all communications and reporting related to the project; tracking and monitoring on time, effort and cost and report potential project risks.

EDUCATION
Bachelor or Master Degree in technical area or business administration.

EXPERIENCE
*At least 5 years working experience as a Project Lead in cross-sector projects (preferably in area of Manufacturing, Development or Industrial engineering) in a multinational organization (preferably CLIENT) and multidisciplinary project team (business and IT).
*Proven track record of delivering projects with IT component on time within budget and scope.
*Certification in project management (like IPMA, PMI or Prince2) and process improvements (Six Sigma black belt).
*Experienced change manager; dealing with resistance to change.
*Experience in/good working knowledge of Failure Modeable to review and assess functional process requirements on this topic.
*Experience in software selection processes and integration of new IT applications into existing IT infra/application landscape.
*Candidates with knowledge of and experience in implementing FMEA tooling have strong plus

PERSONAL SKILLS
Able to convince, inspire and motivate people and cooperate with people on the shop floor up to and including higher management; GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF BOTH DUTCH (preferable native) and English language; strong communication skills and drive to deliver on time within budget and scope. Strong people manager, able to support and actively participate in delivering high quality project content documentation.

The candidate should be available from the 1st of December 2013 up July 2014, for 3 to max. 4 days per week (dependent on the project phase and availability of other project resources).Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
