Project leader Document Handling

Duration: 4 Months + ext.

Assignment
Background
Our client is looking for the necessary tools to set up its own Document Handling infrastructure & services. This includes design of documents, generation of business documents, publishing, archiving, scanning, printing, enveloping. Integration with the different back and Front End applications is a very important item.
Planning
Phase 1 (01/01/2013 - 30/04/2013) of this migration project has started and includes investigation & selection of the tools & infrastructure. Different solutions will be analyzed in accordance with business requirements.
Execution phase is planned to start 01/05/2013. Target for production is Q4/2013.
What should the project achieve?
Determination of the solution (functional & technical).
Design the architectural blueprint.
Determination of the organisation/resources needed (change management, incident management, service management ).
Write PID to be able to go into execution phase by 01/05/2013.
Set up the organisation.
Set up the chosen infrastructure & tools.
What qualities should the person have?
Project lead characteristics:
Experience with Project leading group of 5 - 10 persons.
Experience with the identification and improvement of (administrative) processes.
Strong organizational.
Customer centric.
Criticism and having good ideas, creative.
Good communication skills. Must be good to be able handle resistance and change (change management).
Result driven.
Knowledge of Document Handling solutions and vendors in the market.
Functional & technical knowledge of Document Handling tools & processes and how to integrate them in business applications, is a plus.
Experience in Document Handling solution implementations and migrations, is a plus.
