Project Leader (Change)

New requirement for a Change focused Project Leader to work on contract at a large Rail client in Milton Keynes for a duration of 6 months.

Job Purpose
To manage the development and delivery of the Integrated Mangement System (IMS) to agreed scope, time, cost and quality requirements, working with Function Directors, Executive Sponsors and their representatives.

Key Accountabilities
Agree remit and success criteria of the IMS with the relevant Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
Manage the development and delivery of the IMS in compliance with company processes and procedures.
Manage the production of functional portfolios plans for the IMS.
Establish and manage collaborative cross-functional virtual teams to deliver change, where appropriate.
Deliver regular progress reports on portfolios, including relevant risks and issues, to Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods.
Disseminate lessons learnt.

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential
Experience of working in change projects
Understanding of applying project methodologies

Desirable
Educated to degree level
Member of project association
Commercial and financial awareness.
Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
Knowledge of/experience in the UK rail industry.
